Kept by God

Everyone gets those days when things just aren't turning out right. What good does it do to mope, complain or get angry about it. That doesn't do any good! That is really when we should be turning to God for his help and wisdom on the situation. (I hope that's not the only time we turn to him)
God has definitely given me strength, wisdom, endurance, financial means and many other things in a time of need. I can recount many times in my life where things would have turned out so different if I hadn't called on God in my time of need. I could be hopeless and disheartened. Instead, I am hopeful and lighthearted.

I just received the following little poem into my email box:

I Am a 'Kept ' Woman?
You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind,
But GOD kept me sane. (Isaiah 26:3)
There were times when I thought I could go no longer,
But the LORD kept me moving. (Genesis 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong,
But the LORD kept my mouth shut.. (Psalm 13)
Sometimes, I think the money just isn't enough,
But GOD has helped me to keep the lights on, the water on, the car paid, the house paid, etc.., (Matthew 6:25 -34)
When I thought I would fall, HE kept me up.
When I thought I was weak, HE kept me strong! (I Peter 5:7, Matthew 11:28-30)
I could go on and on and on, but I'm sure you hear me!
I'm blessed to be 'kept '
